Sami graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. She then earned a Master of Science degree with a concentration in medical microbiology and cell science from the University of Florida. She later on pursued a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, FL.
Prior to joining Gastrointestinal Specialists, she worked in vascular surgery for 2 years.
Originally from Fort Myers, FL, Sami relocated back to Richmond with her husband and 2 dogs to enjoy the vibrant city life. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, working out, and reading.
