Dr. Bradenham Jr. is a native Richmond, and second-generation gastroenterologist. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at Washington and Lee University in 2006. He subsequently attended and graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 2010. Residency training then brought Dr. Bradenham Jr. and his physician wife, Courtney Bradenham, to Saint Louis, Missouri. After completing three years of Internal Medicine residency training at Washington University’s Barnes-Jewish Hospital, he spent the next three years in the Gastroenterology & Hepatology fellowship at Saint Louis University.
After six years in Saint Louis, in 2016 he returned home to Richmond, Virginia and joined GSI. Dr. Bradenham Jr. cares for patients suffering from all gastrointestinal diseases; however, he has specific interests in the evaluation and management of pre-cancerous and malignant disease throughout the GI tract, liver disease, gastrointestinal motility disorders and the future of endoscopic weight loss solutions.

Great customer service and care
I had been dealing with pain for 3 weeks now and no one was being helpful. I could not get a straight answer on why my stomach felt the way it did. But Dr. Bradenham listened and provided an answer, a throughly and well thought out answer. I recommend him highly to anyone who needs a GI Specialist. He is thoughtful and he knows his stuff. You will feel positive and be on the road to recovery. Thank you so much Dr!

Only problem was the wait once I was put in a room. Took about 45 minutes or more before doctor showed up. He was only in there for about 10 minutes with me. The whole visit went by so fast I feel like I didn’t have time to think if I had any questions. Will see how things go next visit. Staff was nice.
