Taylor received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human, Nutrition, Food, and Exercise from Virginia
Tech. She received her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Murphy Deming College of Health
Sciences at Mary Baldwin University. Prior to practicing as a PA, she worked as an EMT and as an ER
technician.
Taylor immigrated from Jamaica as a child and eventually moved to Manassas, Virginia. She now enjoys
living in the Richmond area and spends her free time doing ceramics, rock climbing, camping, reading,
and spending time with friends and family.

Excellent! He took the time to talk to me and to figure out what was going on. He didn’t want to do any unnecessary tests. I wasn’t rushed out of the room like you are with a lot of other doctors. He had excellent “bedside manners.” I would give him six stars if I could. Somebody like Chris Young deserves that.

I have to share my great experience from start to finish with Dr. Young and the team at Richmond Gastroenterology today! I was greeted warmly and checked in quickly at the front desk. I didn’t have to wait long before I was brought back to a room. The young lady who took my vitals was nice and professional. Dr. Young came in shortly after and was truly a breath of fresh air. His bedside manner was just fantastic and he was extremely knowledgeable in his area of expertise. He talked to me like I had been coming to him for years and made me feel so comfortable. He walked me out of the exam room over to the scheduler, which really gave it the human touch. Lisa was an absolute doll and should always be the last smiling face that everyone sees. They run a tight ship and know how to treat patients. Also, special thanks for the tip to get on the wait list for earlier appointments…I got in a month earlier than expected when a time slot opened up!
